WELCOME |
We love art. We want you to love art too.
Art on the Square Arts League serves the community through continuous children's
art education. We offer a children art camp during the summer.
In September, the art festival supports the arts and allows artists
to sell their fine creations on the Courthouse grounds.
During this September festival we provide over 20 mini
art camps that allow children to freely express their
creativity. Art on the Square Arts League does all of this and more
with our community of dedicated volunteers. If you are
new to AOTS, please browse our web site for more information
or feel free to contact us.

2011 Best of Show - Debra Riffe, Birmingham, AL
Pictured is Vickie Camp, Treasurer of AOTS, Diane Lehr, Vice President of AOTS, Debra Riffe, Best of Show Winner, 2011, and Lisa Milby, President of AOTS. Ms. Riffe works in print making usually within the confines of a limited edition series. The artist conceives and executes the work in the context of lino cut. Most artists feel that the technique itself adds a new dimension to an original work of art, transforming a mere drawing into something more sublime through this process of serial reproduction print making. |
